1. Agreement To These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Paliet, including the website, editor, saved library, checkout flow, free downloads, and paid digital exports. By using Paliet, creating an account, saving artwork, downloading a file, or purchasing an export, you agree to these Terms.

If you use Paliet on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. Paliet Accounts

You may need an account to save creations, add high-res exports to your cart, complete checkout, and access your library. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your email address current so Paliet can send account, purchase, and security-related messages.

3. What Paliet Provides

Paliet is a creative tool for customizing generative artwork, map posters, and related digital designs. You can preview and adjust designs in the editor, save creations to your library, download low-res preview files for free, and purchase high-res digital exports through Stripe Checkout.

Paliet may change, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time. We try to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

4. Free Low-Res Downloads

Paliet may allow free low-res downloads from the editor. These files are intended for previewing, testing, sharing drafts, and evaluating whether you want to purchase a high-res export.

Low-res downloads are not intended as print-ready production files. You may not misrepresent a low-res download as a high-res paid export or use automated means to bulk download files from the service.

5. Paid High-Res Exports

High-res exports are paid digital products. Prices are shown before checkout and may change from time to time. Stripe processes payments, and Paliet does not store full card details.

After a successful checkout, Paliet makes the purchased export available in your library. You are responsible for downloading and backing up purchased files that you want to keep.

6. Refunds And Digital Delivery

Because high-res exports are digital files made available after payment, purchases are generally final once the export is delivered or made available in your account.

If you believe you were charged in error, purchased the same export by mistake, or cannot access a purchased file because of a technical issue, contact us at contact@paliet.com. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that apply under your local law.

7. Your Use Of Downloaded Artwork

Subject to these Terms and your payment of any applicable fees, you may use downloaded Paliet artwork in personal and commercial projects, including prints, presentations, mockups, websites, packaging concepts, client drafts, and finished visual materials.

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or offer Paliet downloads as standalone stock files, template packs, source assets, generators, or competing design services. You may not claim ownership of Paliet's underlying software, templates, interface, brand assets, or generation systems.

8. Your Content And Inputs

You are responsible for any text, locations, colors, configuration choices, or other inputs you provide. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or that you do not have the right to use.

Paliet may store and process your saved creations, render settings, account information, and purchase information as needed to provide the service, operate checkout, deliver exports, prevent abuse, and support your account.

9. Paliet Intellectual Property

Paliet and its software, templates, visual systems, interface, brand, logos, documentation, and related materials are owned by Paliet or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Paliet's platform or underlying intellectual property to you.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, reproduce, or exploit the Paliet platform except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Paliet, interfere with the service, bypass security or access controls, use the service for unlawful or infringing activity, attempt to overload the infrastructure, or use automated systems to extract content at scale.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account or activity violates these Terms, creates risk for Paliet or other users, or is required by law or a service provider.

11. Third-Party Services

Paliet relies on third-party providers to operate the service, including Stripe for checkout, Supabase for authentication and data storage, Resend for email, Vercel for hosting, and Mapbox for map-based features. Your use of those features may also be subject to the providers' own terms and policies.

12. Disclaimers

Paliet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paliet disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

You are responsible for reviewing downloaded artwork before using it in production, printing, publishing, or client work.

13. Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paliet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paliet's total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Paliet for the specific export or transaction giving rise to the claim.

14. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the service, by email, or by updating the date on this page. Your continued use of Paliet after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
